Reasonable Suspicion Training for Supervisors

Our in depth course discusses all the main topics required for complying with the Federal Regulation pertaining to Reasonable Suspicion Training for your Supervisors. Some of the topics which are covered are:

  • 60 minutes of training on the symptoms of alcohol abuse and 60 minutes of training on the symptoms of controlled substances uses.

Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training

MedTrac provides Designated Employer Representative (DER) certification training to ensure that the individuals responsible for a company’s drug and alcohol program are aware of their responsibilities with keeping their company in compliance with all the DOT regulations. The DER Training Course focuses on providing your company’s DER with the necessary information to fully understand their role in the drug and alcohol testing process. The course will cover the following topics:

  • DER Responsibilities
  • DER’s Relationship with others involved in the testing process (ex. MRO, SAP, Collector, etc.)
  • Understanding the testing process
  • Handling Problem Tests (ex. Positives, Refusals, Shy Bladder, etc.)
  • Federal Rules / Regulations
  • Company Policies
  • FMCSA Clearinghouse (FMCSA only)

Employee Training

Our in depth course discusses all the main topics required for educating your workforce with the dangers of workplace substance use. Training is comprised of topics that will comply with the DOT agency the employees are regulated under. It will also cover topics pertaining to company policy, safety and personal health. Collector Training

MedTrac provides collector training in accordance with DOT regulations.

  • Initial Certification Training with Mock Collections
  • The training course includes qualification training and initial proficiency demonstration.

  • Refresher Training with Mock Collections
  • This training, according to DOT regulations, must be done no less than every 5 years from when you successfully completed your qualification training and initial proficiency demonstration.

  • Error Correction Training
  • This training, according to DOT regulations, must be done if a test was cancelled because of an error made during the collection process. It also states that this training must be completed with 30 days of the date you were notified of the collection error.
